The image for this card came from Beccy's Place, I coloured it with my Spectrum Noirs and inked round the edges. The backing paper and sentiment are from Create with TLC, everything else was from my stash.

It's over !

Well, we had a fantastic time but now the Summer hols are now over and it's back to school tomorrow :-(  ( I can hear millions of parents cheering ! ) which brings to an end my six weeks of quality time with my daughter, rather than the 420 children at school. It also means an end to the long, happy days of cardmaking and back to a few cards made through bleary eyes and infrequent blogging !

On the positive side, it's been amazing to see just how strong our crafting community is in helping Krafty Karen, a very lovely talented lady, who needed our help, if you haven't yet visited her blog, please do so, you will be inspired, not only by her talent but by her battle. Also check out her new blog with her own digi designs Krafty Karens Designs.

Another good thing is that in seven weeks time, after half term, it will be the season of good will, excited children and GLITTER , what better time to work in a school ! :-))

Baubles ! take 2

I made this card using another digi stamp from Birds Cards, again I cut out the apertures, and layed strips of paper from my CC Festive Occasions cd rom. I embellished using peel offs, Stickles and a snow flake punch and mirrorboard.

Baubles !

My husband was the inspiration for the colour palette for this card, he suggested blue and silver.

I used a bauble digi stamp from Birds Cards, as the basis for this card, then I cut out the apertures.
I printed different backing papers from my CC Festive occasions cd rom, which I tore and stuck in layers onto the back of the aperture, I used peel offs and silver Stickles to embellish, then I mounted the card onto silver mirriboard. The sentimented was stamped and embossed.

Golfing sketch

I really should make more cards for men, but it's not the same without pretty, glitter and bling!
The image I used was from Happileigh Scrapping, which I coloured with watercolour pencils and Spectrum noir.
The papers were from my CC Men's cd rom.

Another Christmas card !

Not too sure about this card, I can now understand why some people struggle with the white cards,  you think something  is white, until you put it next to something else, then you realise it isn't !! lol

I used a Christmas medallion stamp, which I have had for years, I embossed with sparkling silver and layered. I used my CC Ultimate Pro to emboss the edges and  I added the organza and stickles to the main image.

The challenges I am entering are

Crafty Ann's - It will be all white on the night.

Crafty Hazelnut - Build it up 3d

I love Hydrangeas

For this card I have used a Hydrangea digi stamp, which I absolutely love, I found it at Tidbits Trinkets, I love playing with different colourways. The papers are from my CC Fairyopolis Spring/summer cd rom.
I coloured the image with my Spectrum Noirs, and highlighted the centres with Stickles. The sentiments were digi stamps.
The cardstock, which I have had for ages (  we all have some overlooked pieces of card/paper in our ever growing stash, that never quite fits the bill ! ). The buttons and ribbon are my newest acquisitions.
